Owning a home in Jamaica should not be a necessity but an option. I have noticed over the years that when it comes to housing people both governments are informally ignorant. They should know that in no country every citizen can own a home. To balance the houssing problem they have to build multi dwelling rental apartments for middle and low income workers. These should be built in cities and towns. Right now there is a housing problem. Every where you go in Jamaica you hear people asking for room to rent. This i effects young professonals mostly. Most of them just left college with student fee and other expences who would like to rent an appartment in a Housing Trust ,or prvate sector rental apartment compex. Why stress them out to find a place to live. The PNP and THe JLP are stuck in the pass when it comes to housing When will they realise that home ownership and muliti rentsls go hand in hand?

O don't think that's enough if it's going to affect tourism in Jamaica if Tourism pulls 4.53 billion a year and provided indirect income for hotel worker like tips and opportunities like marriage and work opportunities abroad. Also, hun hundreds of thousands of vendors and employees will be affected compared to a couple thousand employees who might benefit from that small oil find. 25 billion can be made in 5 years from tourism and earnings can last for eternity vs a limited resource that will earn that over it's lifespan.
